DEAD BY DAYLIGHT: THE REALM BEYOND UPDATE WILL BRING IMPROVED GRAPHICS

As its fifth anniversary approaches, Behavior Interactive will soon be rolling out a major update that will make certain elements of the game more beautiful, with new graphics.

Behavior Interactive's horrific title is about to get a makeover. Dead by Daylight will indeed benefit from an update called The Realm Beyond, allowing certain aspects of the game to be slightly rejuvenated.

The latter aims to bring considerable visual changes to a large part of the cards in the game, which may seem a little outdated at the moment, but while " staying true to the DNA of the game ". Realm Beyond will therefore allow players to rediscover almost all of the maps  with significantly improved graphics (in 4K), as well as other changes such as certain aspects of the characters (hair, outfits, etc.), or even animations .

In addition, the studio said that maps that have already existed for many years will be modified , in order to keep a certain complexity while offering a little revival to the players. The new maps will continue to receive adjustments and modifications as the games are played, and our killers and survivors will of course be able to give their feelings to the studio.

Some elements of the game have already undergone some changes, including the revisited Clown gameplay, as well as a facelift for two title maps , and these adjustments will continue over the months.

We prioritize older models for visual retouching. Some of them were done in a completely different texture style - we call it painting, so they were more cartoonish quality than realism. We make sure that you can recognize the figure and what makes the character stand out.

At this time, the studio has yet to give a release date for this massive Dead by Daylight update , but Behavior Interactive will of course be keeping its community up to date in the coming weeks
