THE MASS EFFECT VOICE CAST IS REUNITING TO CELEBRATE N7 DAY
Several members of the voice cast behind the Mass Effect Trilogy will hold a special panel to celebrate N7 Day on November 7th.
Jennifer Hale, who gave birth to Commander Shepard (aka Femshep), posted about the event on Twitter, along with Mark Meer who voiced the male Shepard. Hale and Meer have revealed that they will be joined by a number of other voice cast members involved in the trilogy, along with Mass Effect developers Karin Weekes and Patrick Weekes.
The cast lineup includes Raphael Sbarge (Kaiden Alenko), Kimberly Brooks (Ashley Williams), Courtney Taylor (Jack), Alix Wilton Regan (Traynor), William Salyers (Mordin Solus), DC Douglas (Legion), Ali Hillis (Liara T 'Soni) and Steve Blum (Grunt). The panel is set to be held at 11:00 PST / 19:00 GMT / 20:00 CET , with a link to the event to be unveiled very soon. The whole event will be recorded, so if you get lost live it looks like you will be able to watch it back after the panel has taken place.
As many will know, N7 Day is a time for players to celebrate their passion for the Mass Effect franchise with BioWare. Just like many other cast reunions recently, it will no doubt be done virtually, but it will be a real treat to see several key vocal cast members reunite. I, for example, hope we will hear some classic lines like "I should go" and Grunt's famous "heh heh heh".
Of course, this year everyone is hoping to get an official announcement for the much anticipated Mass Effect Trilogy remaster. Rumored to be called Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, it transpired that the remaster would be postponed to early 2021. We haven't had official confirmation on the remaster yet, and it would certainly be a welcome surprise this N7 Day, but regardless, the chance to see the voice cast come together definitely gives Mass Effect fans something to look forward to.
