Mario products that will disappear on March 31

As you know, the famous mustached plumber has been celebrating his 35th birthday since last September and the release of Super Mario 35th Anniversary Direct . We learned there in particular the release of Super Mario 3D All-Stars , Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit or Super Mario 35 , as well as various events in the games already available such as the Splatfest “Mushroom vs Star” in Splatoon 2 , and the new Mario stamped items in Animal Crossing New Horizons . But since all good things come to an end, Nintendohad already warned at the time that some Mario games would be available on a limited basis, until March 31. Given the success of Super Mario 3D All-Stars , we could have thought that the game would finally remain available after this date, but it is not: Nintendo recently recalled that a few products available as part of the anniversary of Super Mario would no longer be available as of March 31.

Among them, we obviously note Super Mario 3D All-Stars , bringing together Super Mario 64 , Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy (Super Mario Galaxy 2 forever in our hearts) . The collection will no longer be available on Nintendo eShop (but redownloadable at any time for those who have already purchased it) and the physical version will no longer be restocked: there should therefore still be a few games in store even after March 31 , but do not delay if you hesitate to acquire it! If you are wondering if each game in the compilation will be available for purchase individually after March 31, nothing is known at this time of such a project.

Another game that will disappear from our consoles at the end of the month: Super Mario Bros. 35 , a game available “for free” to members of Nintendo Switch Online and which, like Tetris 99 , offers players the opportunity to eliminate themselves in the world of Mario in a battle-royale with an original concept. This time, not only will the game no longer be available for download, but it will no longer be possible to play it, or even launch it .

In the range of various products not concerning the Switch , know that the Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros. Will no longer be restocked after March 31 , as will exclusive Mario products from My Nintendo Store which will simply be withdrawn from the online store. Rest assured, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury or Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit will remain available and restocked, even after March 31.
